A senior role within the Sector Insights team, focusing on becoming a subject matter expert on infrastructure development, construction, and related fields. The position focuses on identifying key trends, market dynamics, and client issues to develop market-leading strategic insights and perspectives. The role involves delivering high-impact analysis to support the domain, EY leadership, and client activation, rather than focusing on financial or commercial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong internal brand as a subject matter expert and leader
• Engage with senior stakeholders to provide commercial perspectives and insightful analysis on sector trends
• Represent EY at client meetings and external events to enhance market presence
• Lead the creation of specific insights and support business development activities
• Synthesize diverse perspectives to develop compelling, results-driven insights
• Use qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Coach and mentor less-experienced team members

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in market analysis and industry research specifically related to Infrastructure development, construction, or related fields (eg, transportation, energy, real estate financing & investments)
• Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of key infrastructure concepts (project lifecycle, decarbonization, public-private partnerships, multilateral finance)
• Understanding of the "big picture" and its intersections with other sectors, such as Energy, Financial Services, and Telecoms
• Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for explaining complex concepts to senior stakeholders
• Deep project management skills, from scoping to delivery
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global, multi-cultural environment
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to build networks and bring new ideas to leadership
